Movie Star, Inc., Chief Executive Officer Mel Knigin stated: “As a New York City-based company, we are extremely excited to be a part of this year’s Tribeca Film Festival, whose founders have not only succeeded in creating a lasting cultural institution and international global arts destination in lower Manhattan, but also given back to the community by energizing the local economy. Our affiliation with Tribeca is a source of pride, as is our beautiful lingerie, which we hope will lend this year’s post-premiere party a truly glamorous ‘Movie Star’ ambiance.”
The 2003 Tribeca Film Festival follows on the heels of last year’s highly successful event, which was created by Tribeca Productions founders Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal to bring local, national and international talent to New York City in celebration of the best in independent film. Last year’s Festival drew more than 150,000 people and sold over 30,000 tickets. For more information about The 2003 Tribeca Film Festival, visit www.tribecafilm.com.
